Sri Saraswathi Shishu Mandir at KPHB is a English medium school offering education from Nursery to 10th grade.

It is one of the 200 schools run by Sri Saraswathi Vidya Peetham, Telangana, a state level body affiliated to Vidya Bharati.

Vidya Bharati is a nonprofit national level NGO dedicated to the cause of education, running 25,000 schools across the country (including 7,000 single teacher schools in remote tribal areas).

The mission of these schools is to give a high standard of education with an emphasis on overall personality development while inculcating cultural values and ethics.

Our objective is also to make Quality education affordable and accessible to all sections of the society, rich and under-privileged alike. No child should be left behind or denied an opportunity to learn.

We have a well equipped Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab, and a Computer Lab to complement lessons taught in class rooms.

We strongly believe that learning is incomplete without actually experiencing it.

Sri Sarawathi Shishu Mandir, KPHB is registered with Telangana State Board. State syllabi is followed in this school and admissions are open to all irrespective of caste, creed, religion, or economic background.

Sri Saraswathi Shishu Mandir School in KPHB was established in June 1986 in a small house given free-of-cost by one of our karyakarthas. We had a humble beginning with 25 students from classes 1 to 3 with Telugu medium of instruction. By 1996, we were operating from a small rented house offering classes up to grade 7. Our first major expansion happened in 1997 when we moved to our own building, thanks to assistance from many philanthropists and NRI friends.

By 2004, the school was updated to offer education from LKG to 10th grade. In 2014, we switched over to English being the medium on instruction taking into account aspirations of students and their parents. Our core philosophy of offering quality education with emphasis on cultural values and personality development remain intact. The school also boasts of a well equipped Chemistry and Physics Lab and a recently upgraded Computer Lab.
